Design Build Team offers full architectural service with complete building expertise all in one company. We have been designing and building custom homes, additions and remodels in the master builder tradition since 1975. Using Design Build Team for both architecture and construction assures that the architect's vision will be carried out and perfected in the finished product. Steadily award-winning and published, DBT continues to produce appropriately scaled and detailed residential spaces. "We draw the details" at each phase of construction -- framing members, rafter tails, column details, window trim details and cabinet details.
Four full-time carpenters, with a combined total of 62 years experience with DBT, are greatly appreciated by the clientele for their skill and graciousness. Two architects and bookkeeping/office staff make it their goal to provide excellence in service as well as excellence in design. Kansas City Homes & Gardens magazine has frequently published DBT work. Ingram's selected DBT as the silver award winner for Best Home Builder, and The Independent honored DBT with Best of Builder award, both in 2006. DBT's work also has been published in the Kansas City Star and Better Homes and Gardens.

David Dussair with Design Build Team Inc. is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Kansas City Home Builders Association including the Build Green Council and the Better Business Bureau. DBT is also licensed as Johnson County, Kan., contractors and Kansas City, Mo., contractors and is a Certified Green Builder. DBT is fully insured with Employer's Mutual Casualty Company for Workman’s Compensation and General Liability.
