Water closet. Lou. Lavatory. Powder room. With so many aliases, it makes sense that the bathroom serves just as many purposes. But for a place that people go to escape, primp and catch up on reading, it’s amazing that it can come in so many sizes. So what do homeowners do when their water closet lives up to the ‘closet’ part of its name? They enlist the help of area designers who know how to use glass walls, floating vanities, freestanding basins and hidden storage areas to turn these spaces into the restful rooms they were meant to be.
